Double Blade Cutter
The TwinSaw power saw is an electrically-powered cutting tool with two equally-sized, face-to-face saw blades.
The special drive system means that the two blades counter-rotate at equal speed.
The equipment meets EN Standards for electrical power tools. The TwinSaw power saw looks and feels more like a chain saw or large angle-grinder than a conventional circular saw. The use of counter-rotating blades gives the saw a number of outstanding qualities:
- Cold cutting can be achieved with very sharp, high-performance incisions. This is very useful when cutting temperature-sensitive materials.
- Reaction-free cutting can be achieved without jamming of the saw-blades. This eliminates the risk of jarring and significantly increases operator safety when cutting unsupported (the "chain saw" technique).
- High-performance cutting, as is required when penetrating smooth, tough surfaces and modern material.
Compound materials (e.g. wood/steel combinations, GRP, composites, etc) can now be cut with ease.
